Luna Industrial Investments is considered the main supplier of raw materials and excipients for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries in the Egyptian market, supplying to both multinational and domestic entities. To expand the company’s activities, a new affiliate Company was founded in 1996 under the Name of Luna Co. Free Zone, dedicated to distributing ingredients to the Pharma, Food, and Chemical Industries out of the established Warehouse located in Al-Amriya, Alexandria, Egypt Free Zone. The objective of the Luna Free Zone location is to store raw materials and chemicals, and thus being ready to comply with the needs of all customers, covering the Egyptian market as well as all Middle Eastern & African clientelle.
Luna Investments has expanded its assets and operations, becoming shareholders in three factories; Luna PAC, Luna Perfumes & Flavours, and Pharmatube Egypt (Formerly New Hover).
Luna PAC is a perfumes and cosmetics company that is the market leader and key player in multiple sectors of the Egyptian cosmetics market, including decorative cosmetics (makeup), hotel amenities, creams and emollients, lozenges, hand soap, disinfectants and shampoos/shower-gels.
Luna Flavours and Fragrances, acquired by Luna Investments from the Swiss chemical and fragrance company Firmenich in 2010, is a manufacturing company for various powdered and liquid flavours, as well as perfumes dedicated for use in soap and detergent products.
Pharmatube, acquired by Luna Industrial Investments in 2015 from German investment group Linhardt GmbH & Co, is a historically renowned supplier of plastic and collapsable aluminum tubes to the multinational and domestic markets, supplying packaging materials and solutions for Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, and Food product casing.
